This hide was placed as our way of saying thanks to the Goodwill Hunters organization and all those who support their efforts to do good things in our community. Our hope was that it would attract new people to this spot to see one of their good works. When you find this one, you will see that there is a theme, which is a tip of the cap to one of their premier annual events - Thank you Goodwill Hunters!
The Francis M. Keville Footbridge takes you over the South River at a nice quiet spot on a walking trail that you could follow for several miles if you wanted (crosses over a few roads along the way). There is a ramp down to a floating dock in the river that has recently been installed for public use - a great spot to put in a kayak and explore the area.
This is a pleasant walk with very little change in elevation. Enjoy!
