Norges Bank bygget i 1963 kurs- og feriestedet Venastul på Trabelia, og at det ble lagt fram elektrisitet dit. Linjen ble raskt ført videre frem til Venabu fjellhotell og Gudbrandsdal Hotell Spidsbergseter og satte fart i byggingen på fjellet.
