Geocache Description:

Starr Cemetery is the final resting place for numerous descendants of John Starr and his wife, Susannah Parker Starr.  Susannah's father, John Parker, established Ft. Parker between Mexia and Grosbeck and Susannah's niece was the famed Indian captive, Cynthia Ann Parker (mother of Quanah Parker).  Susannah's brother, Daniel Parker, organized the Pilgrim Primitive Baptist Church just south of Elkhart, the oldest Baptist church in Texas.

To determine the final location and sign the log sheet, look at the marker at the entrance of the cemetery for additional information about John Starr.

John Starr was the great-great grandfather of the CO.

Cache can be found at N 31° 39.ABC, and W 095° 35.XYZ where;

ABC = last 3 digits of the year John Starr died + 121

XYZ = age of John Starr at death (in years) + 38
