It is here, the new Pend Oreille County Challenge. There are 24 caches to seek out in this challenge. Grab your passport so you can write down the keywords listed under the lids of the caches. Some caches will contain a special stamp to stamp the passport.
There are 50 trackable geocoins minted for finishers of the challenge. One coin per household please.
Do not expect to complete this challenge in one day. Take your time and enjoy the county. This tour will show you multiple camping and RVing spots in the county. There are lots more places and this tour is just a taste of what it has to offer.
There will be sections of this tour that are out of cell coverage, be advised! If you choose to drive down a logging road not intended for the route of travel to a cache, that is your choice. All caches are reachable by main roads, be that paved or gravel. No single track logging roads!
There will be fellow cachers at the event to load GPX files into your devices. The new Geocache App will not work with the GPX. Caches will go live during this event.
