Geocache Description:

The Cachin’ Crew

A series of caches dedicated to the people that  have added a special element to my adventures ~  Happy Caching!!   wink

Dedicated to my crew – Geo Caching is, hands down, my favorite pastime and it has taught me a little something about enjoying the world around me as well as spending time with me, myself, and I. It is, however, a very different adventure when friends and family join me!!  So, to thank my friends and family for joining me on my adventures, I am dedicating my very first series to you!!

The first cache in this series is dedicated to my favorite Geo Cache partner – my daughter Kendall – aka. Reikilove420.

You will be hunting for a medium sized, clear container that has room for small tradables and swag and contains a FTF Nano CITO Geocoin (Congrats RICK+REESII Dog on being the FTF ).

Parking is available for this cache at the “Star” Pavilion.  Please ensure that the cache is not visible after returning it to GZ and please notify me of any maintenance needs that you may encounter.   This cache requires a good bit of bushwhacking, as there are foot trails if you look for them, however, they are not maintained. According to the first entry for this cache, there are other routes that I have not yet found myself, but love that I can learn something new off of my very own cache! That is what this is all about!

Boyce Park was created in 1963 and was named after the founder of the Boy Scouts who was born in the area.  In 1976 anthropologists associated with Carnegie Museum of Natural History excavated the site upon which the recreational complex was to be built. The findings included artifacts and some 26 burial sites, and suggested that a village of the Monongahela people occupied the site in the 14th century AD.   Boyce Park is open daily, 8:00 am – sunset.  Please adhere to park rules and regulations while caching -     Happy Caching!!
