Geocache Description:

A lovely walk around the historical 17th century harbour of Dysart. Many tracks and trails can take you either around the harbour then along the beach. Or you can head up through the woods and along the various tracks around the Ravenscraig area and along to the castle. Stunning views whichever way you decide to go.

The cache itself is halfway up an ancient stone stair-well that you can access by either walking halfway around the harbour or by walking up the road by the Harbour Masters House. The cache is a  small container behind a tree on your left.  At the top of the stair there is a spectacular view overlooking the harbour and across the River Forth.
