This cache has been repositioned to a higher level. Former cache was DROWNED and rescued. Crystal Cove Cache is off highway 270 about 450 feet. Recommend parking on the ocean side, off the highway also recommend walking shoes, suntan lotion, hat, water and swimming/snorkeling gear if the waves are not too high and you have time to spend at this beautiful place. The walk down is relatively steep with a dirt/rocky path.
Cache is in an ammo box in a puka about 30 feet above sea level. BE VERY CAREFUL OF: sharp lava and WET slippery walking areas. Use discretion for very young cachers at this site. This cove is a favorite place for dive/snorkel boats so please be discreet with cache when someone is present.

If you enjoy a swim, getting in/out is best, left of the white fishing pole holders. There's an underwater ledge to stand on and lava to grab for getting out. The coral/fish are spectacular along the shore line and the water is crystal clear.
