Lizards are reptiles and over 6000 species are known to exist on earth, inhabiting every continent except Antarctica. They differ from snakes due to their four legs and external ears. Most lizards are harmless to humans and some are kept as pets. You are invited to guess which species this one is and include this as a comment in your log.
