Parkfield recreation ground has a number of entrances and includes a childrens’ play area and sports facilities. If you enter from footpath 136, the aspect to the south is semi-rural (including Scrubs Farm), whereas housing may be seen to the north and east. The recreation ground is bordered to the south-west by Bromley Golf Course, which is secured behind green metal fencing. The golf course includes abundant new tree planting, whereas there are some fine mature oak trees on the recreation ground’s eastern edge.
You are looking for a hanging bison on the fence next to the public footpath which forms part of the Bromley Circular Walk. Please be careful when locating the cache, as this park is well used – particularly by dog walkers.
