A lovely short walk along the river which we 'found' whilst going further into the wood looking for another nearby cache. We just had to stop and explore and enjoy.
Park your car in the car park at Allensford. The footpath entrance is between two houses directly opposite the gateway near the bridge across the very busy A68. Be very careful, cars come down the hill very fast.
