The war memorial at Exning is a stone cross with a stepped base and is surrounded by a small chain boundary between stone obelisks. It was unveiled and dedicated in a ceremony on 5 June 1921, attended by Lieutenant Colonel W E Guiness DSO MP and Canon W T Farmiloe.
The cache is hidden very close to the monument but NOT on it
If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Just-us-Two know first at justustwo1013@gmail.com so they can keep track of the memorial numbers and names to avoid any duplication.
