A mini series of caches related to the bridges of Shotley Bridge with varying degrees of difficulty.They are all close to the rivers and will be inaccessible during times of flood nevertheless even on good days please be careful.
You will need to be down on the lower level here not only for retrieval but to experience the power of the river and get a better view of the bridge and its construction. Before this bridge was made there used to be an iron walkway over the rocks and if you look closely there are holes which were the anchor points for the posts.
