Edward Joseph Conway (1894-1968) was an Irish biochemist specialising in electrolyte physiology and a Fellow of the Royal Society in London. He was educated at University College Dublin where he later became Professor of Biochemistry and Pharmacology. In 2003 UCD opened a multidisciplinary research institute named after him.
