Geocache Description:

The Hanson Lake Road Community Trail   "HLR CT"  extends from Smeaton ,Sk (0km) to Creighton ,Sk (323km) just west of Flin Flon ,MB. It is NOT necessary to add to the trail if you find a cache along here - but given the many side roads, points of interest ,and scenic spots along the way, we certainly encourage you to help make this an interesting drive with numerous reasons to take a break. See guidelines below,

This is a cooperative power trail where anyone can add to it and keep it going. Feel free to add your own cache to the trail, as long as it's within these guidelines. Caches that are destined to become part of the trail should be named as follows - the name you pick followed by HLR CT - ex "Nice Spot - HLR CT". *Place cache in such a way to bring attention to interesting or scenic spots along the way. *Winter friendly caches are encouraged. *Park and Grab caches are also encouraged - the intent is to provide some interesting but short breaks. The journey is long enough without long frustrating delays! *Cell reception out here is not great so do not count on having phone service. *Make sure you keep a full tank of gas (closest gas stations are Caribou Creek and close to Deschambault turnoff ). *Be careful! This road isn't very busy but still well traveled. Watch for and yield to moose, bears, and wolves. *Pull completely off the roadway. (All tires to the right of the road) *Parking with your Hazard Lights on will help others see you.
