Not the geographic center of Emeryville, but rather this cache is located next to the Emeryville Center for Community Life.
This was a relatively easy cache located accross the street from the ECCL (apparently too easy as went missing twice last year, so moved to sneakier location in less muggle-prone area across 48th street). That location proved too hard even for experienced folks as vines, leaves and ants were getting obnoxious. Now it's moved again to be right next to the ECCL, which is perhaps more fitting, but muggle factor will be high during business hours so use maximum stealth. About ECCL: "Fifteen years in the making, the Emeryville Center of Community Life (ECCL) opened its doors in early September 2016. The new complex consolidates Emeryville's K-12 school system with on-site community services including a health and dental clinic, and community and recreation center creating one of the nation's first joint use facilities where City and School cooperatively occupy a shared site. ECCL has been described as a community school that can provide wrap-around supports for an enhanced educational experience while creating a community hub to strengthen the bonds among Emeryville residents of all ages. The center boasts an array features that includes advanced STEM classrooms and a variety of flex spaces that provide opportunities for additional use by partners to increase overall facility utilization."
