Il monte Clivio è un monte non molto frequentato da cui si può avere una magnifica vista sul lago Maggiore, Monte Lema e parte della Svizzera...
Per raggiungerlo ci sono tre modi:
1- il modo più corto e comodo passando dalla Svizzera e lasciando la macchina a una fattoria sopra al laghetto di Astano il sentiero è segnato ma non molto marcato.. in questo modo ci vogliono un 15 minuti per raggiungere la cima. Sotto vi aggiungo alcuni waypoints.
2- il secondo modo è passando dal sentiero che parte proprio dal laghetto di Astano passando per la vecchia caserma della dogana e proseguendo fino a arrivare ad una palude, poco dopo la palude cè una diramazione, prendere il sentiero a sinistra! a destra invece si arriva a Trezzo.
3- il terzo modo è passano dall'Italia partendo da Dumenza, passando da Trezzo dove si trova un altro mio cache e proseguendo per il monte Clivio su un sentiero che a un certo punto si divide: andando dritto si arriva appunto al laghetto di Astano invece andando a destra si arriva al Monte Clivio e di conseguenza al cache.
CHI CONOSCE GIà LA SERIE "CI RIMARRAI DI SASSO" è AVVANTAGGIATO... PER GLI ALTRI: RICORDATE QUESTO NON è UN CACHE TRADIZIONALE, IL NOME è UN BUON INDIZIO! ;)
un ultima cosa (nel caso in cui si sceglie il primo sentiero): nel posto è presente una recinzione di filo spinato che divideva la linea di confine formata da quattro linee di filo spinato un po pericoloso e non molto visibile... fate molta attenzione e soprattutto non andate di notte! se passate dal sentiero è stato tagliato ma bisogna cmq passarci sotto..... se non passate dal sentiero fate moolta attenzione e cercate un punto dove è rotto!

The Clivio mountain is not very popular from here you can have a magnificent view of Lake Maggiore, Monte Lema and part of Switzerland ...
To get to this cache there are three ways:
1 - the most convenient and short is passing by Switzerland and leaving the car at a farm over the lake Astano. The trail is marked but not very sharp .. you will need 15 minutes to reach the top. Below I add some waypoints.
2 - The second way is through the path that starts from the lake Astano.. follow directions ... but I do not recommend it ^ ^
3 - The third way is trought Italy starting from Dumenza, from here there is another cache of mine "Trezzo cache" from Trezzo you have to go on a path that splits, going straight you get to the lake Astano instead if you go to right you get to Mount Clivio and consequently to the cache.
REMEMBER THIS IS NOT A TRADITIONAL CACHE, the name is a good clue! ;)
One last thing if you choose the last path: in the place there is a barbed wire fence that divided the border line consists of four lines of barbed wire is very dangerous and not very visible ... be very careful and do not go at night! if you pass trought the path it has been cut but you have to pass under ..... if you do not pass trought the path be very careful and look for a point where it is broken!
