Artist's description of the installation: "This work investigates the physical experience of war that monuments represent. It is about linking a new generation of soldiers and their experience of war with former generations. The trench around the war memorial protects memory, as all monuments become invisible in our everyday landscape"
To obtain the final coordinates answer the following questions:
- If you look closely at the sandbags that make up the installation you will notice a few that are different. What are they made of?
- A = 1 if wood
- A = 2 if metal
- A = 3 if concrete
- A = 4 if plastic
- Find the entry for "Acadia Ladies Seminary" on the 1939-1945 side of the monument. There should be one name. Let B=total number of letters in first and last name combined.
- Let C = number of places you can walk into the art installation.
