Geocache Description:

Celebrating the T5 cache and those who are addicted to finding them!

Cache IS at posted coordinates, however, this is a challenge cache that requires additional requirements be met. You are free to find/sign the log, but you must meet the requirements before claiming a find online. See additional details for claim criteria. BYOP.

To qualify for this cache, there are 3 criteria:

1. Find 100 terrain 5 caches. Any type counts!

2. Your T5 finds must contain 5 each of the difficulty/terrain ratings where terrain is 5. This means that you must have:
  • 5x 1/5 caches
  • 5x 1.5/5 caches
  • 5x 2/5 caches
  • 5x 2.5/5 caches
  • 5x 3/5 caches
  • 5x 3.5/5 caches
  • 5x 4/5 caches
  • 5x 4.5/5 caches
  • 5x 5/5 caches
3. 5 of your T5 finds must not be located in Minnesota (e.g. Iowa).

Most of these requirements can be easily checked by looking at your d/t matrix on the statistics tab within your geocaching.com profile. For example, for requirement #1 look at the red square. For requirement #2, look at the yellow square:

A note on this cache location: you will need a non-powered (small) boat or walk to this in the winter. You will simply not be able to use a motor-boat here. The island is public property and you should feel comfortable searching for the cache here.
