Spending a little time enjoying the parks along the Ohio and of course hiding a cache or two. During my stroll around Caperton Swamp realized that there was a hole in the geo-zone right here at the back door. I walked to the GZ from Caperton Swamp Parking and the terrain is rated accordingly but there may be closer places to park depending on the amount of rain. Cache is not far off the trail but it is a bit overgrown and will probably get worse as the summer progresses.
You are looking for a black Bison Tube containing only a vinyl log. Permanent markers work best here. Ball point pens leave only dents – dents are acceptable – not leaving your mark is not. The coordinates have been average 100 times to within 10 feet with heavy overhead cover. Your results may vary so a generous hint is provided.
