Derwent Valley Wander
A river and woodland circular wander from Shotley Bridge up river to Allensford and back again, the paths are generally good walking if a bit up and down but in wet weather will be muddy in places.Some sections are very close to the river and it would be advisable not to attempt during times of flood. There is a footbridge close to either waypoint parking spot, cross over and make your way to the cache furthest down river to start, any directions given will be from there.
