My family used to hike down this road and along the old rail line when I was young. It is a pretty tree-lined roadway during all seasons, but it is BREATH-TAKING in the Fall. The colours of the leaves is absolutely beautiful! Enjoy!
Bring your own pen. If you bring your dog, please keep it on leash so that the cattle do not get frightened.
As mentioned in the attributes, this roadway has seasonal access . . . meaning it does not get ploughed in the winter months. You will be able to search for the geocache all year, but you may have to put on your CROSS COUNTRY SKIS, or SNOW SHOES, to get to it! You may be able to drive the road in the winter with a 4X4 . . . if you dare. This roadway is only a 1 car width gravel road, but is fine for travel during the Summer and Fall.
NOTE: Please do not enter or cross the old rail trail or cross any fences because you will be on a neighbour's private property.
The DIFFICULTY and TERRAIN is rated more for the winter months.
