When I made some preliminary enquiries I was reminded that "When you go to hide a cache, think of the reason you are bringing people to that spot. If the only reason is for the geocache, then find a better spot."
I fear that where this cache is hidden has more to do with the solution to the puzzle than any intrinsic merit but I have found this with a lot of other caches so hope I can be excused.
Taking this into account I am suggesting a starting place that IS full of interest and will provide a good walk to the cache.
Now for the puzzle!
You need to find how A to G are connected.
A declined to do Napoleon's bidding.
B was a senior officer at the Battle of Waterloo.
C and D were sisters. D went off on her own and was surprised by an Australian.
E and F were related to C and D. E was one of seven and F was one of four.
G is a brewery.
The values for A to G are the alphabetical values of the initial letter in each case.
The cache is hidden at N 54 59.11(A+B+C+D+E+F+G)+A+E+G W 001 38.9(A+B+C+D+E+F+G)+A+D+G
