Rainy Creek Falls Traditional Cache

THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE FOR SMALL CHILDREN ANYTIME, OR ANYBODY IN SNOWY OR WET TIMES, these lovely small falls are close to the highway, but it is tricky getting to a spot from which to view them.

Directions (for those who read cache pages)

1. Park in the nearby pullout and head along the open grassy area toward the cache.

2. Walk down the very steep pebbly trail to the area at the top of the falls.

3. Find a small trail to the left, follow it for a short distance until it gets scary.

4. Go up a few feet and find another less scary path and follow it, angling down slope to a vague switch back, reverse direction and continue to the cache. Sign in and if you want, carry on down to get a better picture of the falls.

This is a very cool grotto, doubly cool on hot days, enjoy. Water levels will vary of course.
