Geocache Description:

This is the original Sussex Olympic Rings Bronze Medal Cache GC3KF3Q . The series is now archived but I am re-publishing the bronze and gold bonus caches as traditionals. The log book has been updated so if you have found it previously as a mystery cache and want to log this as a new find you must revisit and sign it.

This was a series of 65 puzzle caches placed to celebrate the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics. Each ring was set by a different cacher and contained 11 or 12 hides plus a bonus. The whole design was over 4km across. You needed to find all caches for a ring in order to find the bonus and complete the ring.

The Sussex Olympic Rings were brought to you by the following team of geocachers:
NogNod - Original idea, published co-ordinates and Black Ringmaster.
Tootsie's Trackers - Technology consultant, web design, team communications, bonus password page.
AnTsInRpAnTs - Yellow Ringmaster, Design and creation of FTF keepsakes.
lost! - Medal cacheMaster.
proftonks - Green Ringmaster.
cachedrag0n - Blue Ringmaster.
martletsman - Red Ringmaster.
The Long Man - Co-ordinate checking, page pre-check, simultaneous publishing.

You could approach this cache from the north or south. There is easy parking in Cherry Lane to the south or you could park at Balcombe Station, which, at the time of publication, is free at weekends and after 4:00pm Monday to Friday.
