This geocache experience takes you on a short walk along the grassy area next to one of our Welcome Center’s wooded sections. Don’t worry, we won’t make you go into the woods to search. Although this cache may be more exciting during the dark hours, it is accessible 24 hours a day. If you come at night, you will want to bring a flashlight to light your path, as you will be walking on grassy, unleveled ground. Kid-friendly with some great SWAG and easy to find, this will get you out of the car for a quick leg stretch.
While at the Monroe Welcome Center, make sure to also visit our Earth Cache and Puzzle Cache. If you don’t have time for the puzzle, you can check the hints for the answers. This is your chance to collect 3 geocaches in 1 stop!
