Nadiža je gorski potok, ki izvira ob vzhodnem vznožju Zadnje Ponce nad dolino Tamar v Julijskih Alpah. Nahaja se v bližini planinskega Doma v Tamarju. Nadiža izvira iz skalne stene in se tik za izvirom spušča v 10 m visok drseči slap. Ob izviru je tudi urejeno vodno zajetje komunale Kranjska gora. Potok je dolg približno 300 metrov, saj v dolini kmalu ponikne v grušč. Vode Nadiže ponovno pridejo na dan v Zelencih (GC1W8FM), izviru Save Dolinke. S tem potok velja za prvi izvir najdaljše slovenske reke.

The Nadiža is a mountain stream near the town of Kranjska Gora, in the far northwestern cornerof Slovenia. Springing from a bare rockface on the eastern slope of Mount Zadnja Ponca abovethe Tamar Valley in the Julian Alps, it is the first source of the Sava Dolinka River, the longer of the twosources of the Sava, the longest Slovene river at 221 km (137 mi) and a tributary of the Danube.[1]
The source of the Nadiža is near the Tamar Mountain Lodge; immediately after emerging, the watercascades down the cliff face in a 10 m (33 ft) waterfall, near which the Municipality of Kranjska Gora draws its water. The stream's surface course is only about 300 m (980 ft) long, although it flowsfar further underground after disappearing at the gravelly Ledine basin near Rateče. The Nadiža re-emerges through the porous bottom of a two-m deep lake called Zelenci (GC1W8FM), a marshywetland with an extraordinarily rich ecosystem, which is regarded as the source of the Sava Dolinka.
