Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series that brings cachers to some random historical locations that are hidden amongst the urban sprawl that is the Greater Toronto area. Often, these historic buildings get surrounded by new developments, apartments and office towers - people forget they are even there. Then one day you are driving along and BANG you find a random historical building in the middle of 1960's apartments or post-war bungalows. Enjoy some of these hidden gems.

The first cache in the series can be found along the border of Graydon Hall Manor. This 1936 Georgian stone mansion is now a luxury event venue but was once considered one of the most prestigous homes in Toronto. When the parklands surrounding the manor were sold, some large apartment buildings and a collection of homes replaced an expansive green space and hunting lands. Now the manor is surrounded by buildings and not visible from the street any longer - you would not even know it is there without the signs.

The cache is a nano so bring your own pen. No need to go onto the property to find the cache and parking is a little hard to find but available on the street at specific times. TTC is also available a few feet away.
