Geocache Description:

The name of this cache from the Kangaroos that I have seen on the occasions when visiting this park in the late afternoon. When I was placing this one with WillPunkey and Scoob we saw 6 large grey kangaroos all lined up in a group facing us. Later we saw a Joey by itself which let us get much closer to him before hopping away.

Mount Peel Bushland Reserve is a large park on the western side of Toowoomba next to Drayton. The park is dominated by open eucalypt forest but contains a large amount of prickly pear in places so be careful. You will probably also see some kangaroos or wallabies as I did whilst placing the cache. The reserve contains two mountain peaks, both with views over the Darling Downs.

The council have recently graded and placed gravel on the paths in this reserve. The cache is located a distance from the path which leads to the southern peak. The cache is a medium sized sistema with room for swaps and trackables. Please conceal well as it is very close to the path.

Congrats to Brother Colin for the FTF
