Up a Creek Webcam Virtual Cache

This cache requires a team effort!

What you will need:

• A GPS
• A friend at his/her computer with an Internet connection.
• A mobile phone or set time when you will be at the cache site.

How to find and claim this webcam virtual cache:

• Go to the coordinates of this cache.
• The coordinates get you in the area of the cache. They are not exact coordinates telling you where to stand. You, with the help of your friend, need to "hunt" for the cache.
• Call your friend and have them go to this image, http://www.cityofpaloalto.org/gov/depts/pwd/creek_monitor/creek_camera.asp. This image does not auto-refresh. They must click REFRESH to update the picture. Note: The image in this link is a spoiler!
• Let them guide you on where to stand for the best picture then...
• Smile for the camera and wait for an update! (This webcam updates every 4:34 minutes and requires another 5 or 10 minutes to post to the web)
• When your friend sees a good webcam picture, have them right click on the webcam picture and save the image. Then send you the picture so that...
• When you make your Found it! log entry you can include the picture in the log.

• We do not own or control this webcam.
• We do not get any warning when this camera is down for maintenance and/or repair. If the webcam is not working, for any reason, a photo taken of you at the cache site is acceptable. Ensure, that you are seen in the picture and it is obvious that you are at the cache site.
• Be careful, if you stand on a light background on a bright day you will be washed out of the picture. Getting a clear picture is a bit of a challenge!
