Geocache Description:

World Wide Flash Mob XIV

2:00p.m.-2:30p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2017

A flash mob is an event where a group assembles, does something, and disperses in a short period of time. On June 10 all around the world, cachers will be having flash mobs to celebrate geocaching. Come out and join the one being held in Bridgewater!

Unfortunately I discovered after the event was published that the time (set by PodCacher) overlaps with the ANSG AGM. For those trying to decide between the two events I encourage you to support the ANSG & all they do and head there so we continue to have a strong association.

The flash mob will start at 2p.m. on the new lookout platform by the LaHave River; look for Island1988 carrying a GPS and a banner with the Geocaching logo on it. Bring your own GPS if you like to make yourself more easily recognizable to others. There will be a limited number of event buttons given out to the first people to show up and a log book will be passed around to be sign. There'll be some (out)door prizes before we wrap up and disperse at 2:30pm.

Podcacher, who is behind the WWFM events, has a draw for prizes after the event. Information about this will be made available at the event.
