Der Name Ahrntal kommt vom pre-romanischen Wort „Awerina“ was soviel wie fließendes Wasser bedeutet. Genau über diesem Gewässer thront dieser kleine Cache. Die heutige Brücke, eine Holz/Eisen-Konstruktion ersetzte 1973 eine sehr wackelige Hängebrücke für Fußgänger und diente bis vor kurzem als Hofzufahrt. Nachdem letztere 2015 verlegt wurde, ist auch die Straße mittlerweile fast zugewachsen und die Brücke hat ihren ursprünglichen Zweck verloren. Also gib der Brücke einen neuen Sinn und halte kurz inne, um die Bachforellen zu beobachten. ACHTUNG!!! MAN MUSS DIE BRÜCKE NICHT VERLASSEN UM DEN CACHE ZU HEBEN!!!
Il nome Valle Aurina derriva della parola pre-romana „Awerina“ che significa acqua corrente. Esattamente sopra di questo troneggia il cache. Il ponte attuale è una costruzione di legno e ferro che nel 1973 ha sostituito il vecchio ponte sospeso. Fino a qualche anno fa il ponte faceva parte del accesso a un maso, che nel 2015 è stato spostato, per questo anche la strada è quasi rimarginata e il ponte ha perso il suo scopo. Per questo fai una piccola pausa e dai un occhiata alle trote che passano sotto i tuoi piedi. ATTENZIONE! STARE SUL PONTE PER TROVARE LA CACHE!!!
The Name Ahrntal derives from the pre-romanic word „Awerina“ meaning running water. Exactly atop of these waters the cache is enthroned. The current bridge is made of wood and metal and it has been there since 1973, when it replaced an old and shaky suspension bridge. It made part of an access road which has nearly become overgrown, since it was relocated in 2015. Obviously this bridge needs a new purpose now and this is where you can help: take some time to use it as a viewpoint and observe the trouts passing by! ATTENTION! DON'T LEAVE THE BRIDGE IF YOU WANT TO FIND THE CACHE!
