Geocache Description:

This is my first cache down the Johns River Dike Trail after you leave the parking lot area, although there is a cache placement now closer to the parking that was placed by another cache owner. Look along your walk for birds of all sizes, or perhaps wildlife in the distance back at the edge of the trees. You can walk, jog, ride your bike or maybe even rollerblade. We see lots of dog walkers along this trail, too.

The whole paved trail is .57 in length, so a nice distance round trip without being too long of a walk or ride on your bike. In addition to this cache, there are three other caches for a total of four caches in this series. New this year to the trail are two placements of picnic tables, so you can even bring a picnic lunch to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. You are looking for small plastic container that has been camouflaged and covered well with Northwest common camouflage. Please recover well to hide the container. There is a small monetary prize to the FTF.

Special thanks to fellow geocacher, vmgreg, who found our Elk's Club Revisited (GC58C8G) and wanted more caches placed along this great trail.

CONGRATULATIONS to k7da on the FTF!!
