Geocache Description:

Barth Pond, named in honor of Officer Richard J. Barth of the Downers Grove Police Department. Officer Barth was killed in the line of duty on March 18, 1974. A marker dedicating this site to Officer Barth says he enjoyed countless hours of fishing here, and if you bring your pole you can too. As you will soon see there is a nice trail and play ground equimpent for the little ones.
