This marks one of various ends (or beginnings) of May Avenue, and also the beginning (or end) of a trail along Branciforte Creek. Few people are aware that this trail exists, and even though it doesn't provide a scenic nature walk, it still shows views of the channelized creek that you'll never see elsewhere (sort of like the Berlin Wall with more water and less graffiti). Not much wildlife, though ducks (and their ducklings) love it during appropriate seasons.
Almost a park-and-grab. No climbing required.
