This is my family's first hidden cache. We hope you enjoy your stroll through the woods on this section of The Conservation Trail, a trail that runs from the PA border to Lake Ontario. The cache is in a segment called The Mabel James Section, and also known as The Holland Ravines Section. Cache is about 0.5 mile from recommended parking.
We walk this trail often, as it is close to our house. Very peaceful walk includes some very old and interesting trees as well as waterfalls and a few small ravines which are not hard to traverse, as trail is well maintained. Cache is in a lock-n-lock container and contains numerous trinkets as well as pencils and a log. It is also starting with a travel bug that is eager to see the country! Lovingly placed by our cache-happy kids!
