Geocache Description:

FFARP: A series about some of the rabbit holes I’ve gone down when trying to solve some of the crazy puzzle caches out there.

Each of the caches in this series will contain one/several hints/clues to help solving the puzzle on the actual cache page. The rub, some of these hints are obvious, some very cryptic, some well-hidden, some may seem confusing.

07h53

Morse: “Lewis! Get over here, I’ve got it! (on Phone in home)

Lewis: “On my way sir.” (on Phone in Thames Valley Police Station)

Lewis puts down the phone and rushes out of the station almost knocking Chief Superintendent Strange over.  He drives to DCI Morse’s home.  He approaches the house quickly and finds the front door ajar.

08h22

Lewis: “Sir?”

No answer.  Lewis cautiously pushes the door open.

Lewis: “Sir?”

Pause.  Lewis discovers a torn note lying in the entrance hall with Morse’s handwriting and what looks like a partial bloody print of a shoe.  Lewis inspects the note without touching it and his face turns to one of concern.

Lewis: “Sir!?” (with urgency)

18h48

Morse’s home is besieged with forensic police while Lewis looks on anxiously and fidgets with the note which is now sealed in an evidence bag.

CS Strange: “Lewis, anything?

Lewis: “No sir.  His car is still out back and apart from the note and the fact that DCI Morse appears to be missing nothing else looks out of place.  Forensics are still combing the house and the neighbours are being interviewed but so far nothing.”

CS Strange: “What the hell has he got himself into this time?”
