This point has a lovely view from Preston looking over Martinsthorpe, Gunthorpe and Burley, what are these?. On a lovely day NNW you can often see the Aerial near Melton Mowbray?
It's a great place to just sit back and admire the view and watch time goes by.
A bit of history for you, it could've been a valley where a Rutland Water was created man made instead of the valley the actually used instead.
