I wanted to place a cache at Sterling Corner AKA The Angel AKA several other names from the past. However, it is a very busy and sometimes smelly area and I couldn't find a suitable place to hide a cache that wouldn't involve cachers trying to find and retrieve a nano from under railings. TfL are removing safety railings at some crossings but I don't think the ones round here will join them. Instead this is a nano nearby.
If the cache was where I wanted it to be I could describe the history of the area and include false information I was given about Marie Lloyd appearing at the Regal that stood in the southwest corner. Her last appearance was actually at the Empire just up the road at Lower Edmonton.
TO DO: Provide a link to the webpage that described the career of Marie Lloyd. It is a good read and I may try to place a cache near the afore mentioned Empire Lower Edmonton. But enough of this. You're a geocacher and only interested in the coordinates and not all this text. I doubt you've even read this far.
