Lanzhou University (simplified Chinese: 兰州大学; traditional Chinese: 蘭州大學; pinyin: Lánzhōu Dàxué) is a major research university in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, China. Founded in 1909, it is one of the key universities under China's Ministry of Education. It provides programs for undergraduate, graduate students on four campuses - three in Lanzhou city centre and one in Yuzhong County, about 30 miles away from the main campus. Total enrolment is approximately 20,000. Undergraduate students study at the Yuzhong campus.
This is the second cache in Lanzhou. The location is the main campus of Lanzhou university, a pleasant place for a stroll especially in spring or on a hot summer day. There is an artificial pond that is populated with Koi fish in the warm seasons and a nice variety of flowers and trees. The cache is located in one of the smaller green spaces in Landa, next to the former Foreign Experts Building.
The campus can be accesed 24/7 through the South Gate on Maijishan Lu. Usualy there is no need for identification, but if you are requested to identify yourself just sign the register and you will be allowed in. Recomended late in the evening to avoid muggles. Please make sure you replace the cache in the exact same position. Bring your own pen.
