My sister and I have a goal of visiting every Canadian Capital on Canada Day. We hatched the idea back in 2010 when we visited Ottawa together. I live in Ontario now, while my sister still lives in Alberta. We don't see each other that often, so it's become a great way to get together and tour our Awesome Country. In 2012 we had a great time watching the sunrise ceremony on Signal Hill in St. Johns, Newfoundland. And in 2014 we drove around PEI and then visited Charlottetown. We knew we wanted to do something special for Canada's sesquicentennial, so after a lot of discussion, we settled on Cape Breton and Halifax! We are super excited to make our way out to beautiful Nova Scotia!
This year, my sister and I decided we want to watch the citizenship ceremonies. This is something we've never done before. The ceremony will take place at 1000 at the Canadian Museum of immigration at Pier 21, and we are very excited to include this in our personal Canada Day celebrations. I saw this park was close by Pier 21, so thought it'd be a nice spot for the event.
Looking forward to meeting everyone!
