Namhansanseong is one of the most important defense facilities to defend Seoul in the Joseon Dynasty. The castle is known as built by the first King Onjo in Baekje era. During the Joseon Dynasty, the castle was extended and various types of facilities were built in the shape of today at the time of King Injo and Sookjong. It was designated as Historic Site No. 57 on January 12, 1963 and was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in June 2014. The castle is also a representative site of pain in our history.
The cache is located near Namhansanseong castle trail. The trail is about 8 km long and takes 3 and half hours or so to walk around. Please enjoy the beautiful scenery from the trail!
