Another interesting find in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Spend some time exploring this area and find many things associated with the "big" artifact. This place is from a simpler time in the shadow of Campbell Mountain near the headwaters of the Etowah River.
Not much hiking required unless you don't have a 4 wheel drive vehicle or a vehicle with good clearance and technical driving skills. In wet weather, 4 wheel drive is a must. A good topo map of the area will show at least one route to the cache spot. Older maps show at least 2 more, but unless the river level is down, don't even think about it!!
Small note: As required by the USFS for geocaches hidden in the Chattahoochee National Forest. This geocache is prominently labeled as a geocache and the label includes the GC code and the owner's e-mail address.
