Built in 1812, by the Parminter sisters, this historic chapel is set in a three acre meadow with panoramic views of the Exe estuary. Established as an independent chapel, There is a centre flat roofed entrance porch and all the windows are pointed with diagonal glazing bars. A 4 sided lead spire rises above the chapel or 'Point Room'. The organ has a folding console which is also a reading desk, thus making the maximum
use of space in the tiny chapel.Point in View remains a centre for Christian worship with a congregation meeting at 11am each Sunday. The Chapel is open every day of the year, between 9am and dusk, and visitors are always welcome.to enjoy the unique chapel for, its beautiful gardens, its peace, space and quiet moments of reflection.
