The Ohm’s Law Mystery Cache

In everyday life, a wide range of physical phenomena surrounds us. Recently, some caches were dedicated to phenomena such as sound and light, now is turn for electricity.

The cache is not at given coordinates.

To find and log the cache, you need to answer correctly on 3 simple questions A, B, C. The answers will guide you to the stage 2 which is hidden at coordinates N58°A+C  E005°B-C

There you will find all of necessary information to log the cache.

All of calculations are based on:

• V=230 Volts, it is a normal electrical power network in each apartment and building,
• The Ohm's law, which is used as for DC circuits.

So, let’s go…

A.

Before starting to save electricity, John decided to get clear, what is the total power consumption in his apartment. He counted together all of the main consumers, and the result was

• The light bulbs:
• 5 pcs × 40W
• 9 pcs × 60W
• 6 pcs × 25W
• The fridge =200W
• Plasma TV   =350W
• Stereo          =70W
• Dishwasher =2 kW
• Laptop         =100W
• PC                 =250w
• The water heater was lost the plate with specification, but he managed to get the measurement: 26,45 Ohm and then calculated the power.  
• The oven had the same problem, but John used the multimeter and got the result: 13,04348 A (the calculated power is rounded up to integers).

A = the total power consumption in Watts + 38684 + C

B.

B =total resistance for circuit showed below in Ohms + 557 – C

C.

C = indication of device connected in circuit showed below.
