Marit Bockelie er en norsk billedkunstner og musiker, oppvokst i Tromsø og bosatt i Oslo. Hun er utdannet ved Statens håndverks- og kunstindustriskole, Accademia di Belle Arti, Ravenna og Statens kunstakademi.
Blant hennes mest kjente dekorasjoner er mosaikken i kommunestyresalen i Grimstad på hele 40 kvadratmeter fra 1983. En annen stor dekorasjon vandrer daglig langs den norske kysten med hurtigruteskipet M/S Polarlys. Det er et 1,50 × 1,55 meter stort mosaikkarbeid og viser et hurtigruteskip i en skipslei med ruvende fjell og et gnistrende nordlys over landskapet. På Åsgård sykehus i Tromsø står også hennes Samisk Madonna.

Marit Bockelie is a Norwegian visual artist and musician, who grew up in Tromsø and is resident in Oslo. She is educated at the State Handicraft and Art Industry School, Accademia di Belle Arti, Ravenna and the State Art Academy.
Among her most famous decorations is the mosaic in the municipality's administrative hall in Grimstad, about 40 square meters from 1983. Another great decoration wanders daily along the Norwegian coast with Hurtigruten - M/S Polarlys. It is a 1.50 × 1.55 meter mosaic work and shows a Hurtigrute-ship and high mountains and a sparkling northern lights over the landscape. At Åsgård Hospital in Tromsø is also her Sami Madonna.
