The Badger Creek Primary school was moved from Gruyere North, and opened on 1st January 1899. The school grew and reached 76 students after a few years. A residence for the teacher was added in 1903.
By 1987 the school had reached its maximum capacity and a new school was planned. The residents 'saved' the building from demolition and it was relocated to this location.
The information board at the edge of the car park tells the story of the school and its relocation, it has lots of photos and is a great read!
The cache is heavily cammo'd. Please note that you do not need to climb into the garden or under the building to find the cache, which is hidden in plain sight (at least the cammo is).
Permission has been granted and placement overseen by Arthur of the BCOS Committee for the placement of the cache
