Thirty-third in a series of quick events for no reason other than we can!
I'll try to make them all at an interesting or historical place, as close to at least one cache as possible and not too far away from a pub!
This one's at Lion Walk Church. In 1972, the year in which Lion Walk became part of the newly-created United Reformed Church, the painful decision to demolish and rebuild had to be made. It was agreed that Lion Walk must remain a town-centre church. Planning permission for development of the site was made conditional upon the tower and steeple remaining. This is why the lonely steeple points skyward along Lion Walk.
Meet at the coords any time between 7:00pm and 7:30pm, we'll have a group photo at 7:25pm then off home or to the pub.
