This cache was placed for the Central MA Cache N Dash held in Leominster, MA on August 13, 2017.
So, some Grimm tales are well known, some are uncommon, and some are just strange.....this one is so weird it will take three geocaches to tell the tale. To read the complete story, go HERE, but don't say I didn't warn you.
You found Part 1 and Part 2, right? I told you it was strange!
Once again, we meet the poor farmer, although he's not so poor anymore now that he has $300 in his pocket. He settled himself down and built a fine house, and when the other villagers asked how he had done so well, he told them he sold a calf skin for $300, which then prompted a run on the calf skin market, and boy were the villagers upset when they couldn't even get $3. They sentenced the farmer to death (one heck of a justice system there), but the farmer ends up squeaking out of it by running into the priest (who happened to be the one getting it on with the miller's wife), a shepherd who wanted to be a bailiff if it only meant sitting in a barrel, and a bunch of villagers who thought there were sheep at the bottom of the lake for the taking. What? Really?
Seriously, you can't make these things up, only the Brothers' Grimm can, apparently.
