To qualify for this cache, You will have to drive many miles. Hike, paddle and climb to some of the 1st and oldest caches alive today. One of my goals in 2016 was to qualify for this challenge. So I set out over a few months and drove across the much of this great country seeking out some of the most treasured caches, the remaining year 2000 caches, that I could conceivably get to. Along the way I finished off any year 2001 and later caches needed also. Some of my memorable caches along my journey were
1. Geocache 612
2. Power Island
3. Sleepy Hollow-1
4. The Spot
5. gerbiL cacHe
Those 5 of the 16 year 2000 caches stand out to me for one reason or another. They may not be the oldest I have found but the stories of the day I grabbed them definitely make them memorable.
