Geocache Description:

The Oxley Highway, the Oxley Way and almost every reference to “Oxley” is attributed to John Joseph William Molesworth Oxley (1784?-1828) who led various expeditions  exploring and mapping vast areas of inland NEW South Wales in the early 1800s.

An anchor has been erected close to the estimated point of his crossing and naming the Peel River on 2nd September 1818. The City of Tamworth is located just south of this spot.


These caches are to be found in the close proximity to this anchor. The cache is not at the coordinates shown. You will have to solve the following puzzle to locate it.
